As a growing business school, Wittenborg engages both full-time and part-time teaching staff. We aim to involve as many of our teaching staff as possible in the continuous development of our programmes, teaching methodologies, and other aspects of daily life at Wittenborg. This engagement ensures that our faculty contribute to and benefit from the evolving educational environment.

Research and Scholarly Activity: We are dedicated to keep increasing our scholarly active academic staff. The minimum requirement to teach at Wittenborg is a Master’s degree. However, we preferably engage faculty members with a doctoral degree who are research-active. We support our faculty in undertaking research, publishing in academic journals, and integrating research-led education into their teaching. All teaching staff are encouraged to engage in research that underpins Wittenborg’s mission.

Balanced Qualifications: We maintain a balance in the qualifications of our faculty to reflect the applied sciences nature of our institution while enabling us to achieve higher educational standards in line with our mission. We value a combination of academic background, intellectual contributions, and professional experience when engaging teaching staff. 

Career Development and Lifelong Learning: Wittenborg is committed to the continuous professional development of our faculty. Faculty members have opportunities to continue learning, whether academically or professionally, for example by pursuing doctoral degrees, or obtaining certificates or diplomas in teaching and learning in higher education.

Our professional staff members work across various support departments, based in Apeldoorn and Amsterdam. Our team consists of highly educated, international professionals.
