Specific entry requirements for degree programmes at Wittenborg are published with the individual programme overviews and in the Education and Examination Guides (view here). Below is a general overview of the entry requirements for Bachelor's and Master's programmes at Wittenborg.
Bachelor's Programmes - Entry Requirements
Dutch Students: you can enter our programmes with the following qualifications: HAVO, VWO or MBO level-4 diploma.
International Students: in the Netherlands, universities and universities of applied sciences are required to consider applications from students who have completed high school to the level that enables them to apply to university in their own country, and the Admissions Office has overviews of all high school qualifications from different countries that allow entry into the bachelor's programme. The high school diploma must be equivalent to the Dutch qualifications (HAVO, VWO or MBO level-4 diploma, International Baccalaureate, UK AS & A-Level or BTEC diploma).

- Applications are not judged on grades that students achieve, as the Dutch philosophy adheres to the fact that students should not be judged on their school marks for university entrance - because the university system is different from school, and university should be accessible to all students regardless of their high school marks.
- Once students are at the university, they are required to pass regular assessments and exams to enable them to carry on.
Students who have a gap of more than 5 years between their high school graduation and their application for a bachelor programme at Wittenborg, will not be taken into consideration for an application to the bachelor degree due to the validity of the high school degree.
