Wittenborg Caps Off Another Successful Staff Dinner
More Than 100 Attendees Gather for an Evening of Networking and Celebration
Wittenborg hosted its annual staff dinner on 7 February at the Bilderberg Hotel De Keizerskroon in Apeldoorn. With 107 attendees, including staff, guest lecturers, members of the International Academic Advisory Panel (IAAP), and advisory board members, the event provided a wonderful opportunity for networking, celebration and strengthening professional relationships.
The evening also featured a professional photography session, where attendees had the opportunity to capture individual and couple portraits, adding a personal touch to the night. This relaxed setting further encouraged colleagues to interact across departments and engage in meaningful conversations.
During the event, Peter Birdsall, Wittenborg’s President, took a moment to share insights into the school’s future, discussing upcoming projects and goals, including the pursuit of AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation. This ambitious goal aligns with the school’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and global recognition.
Allegra Zazzaro, Admissions Administrator, reflected on the evening, saying, “The dinner was fantastic! It provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with colleagues from various departments, record videos, and ask questions for Wittenborg’s official TikTok account, all while enjoying a delicious meal.”
Bonthula Krish, Registry Administrator, shared his appreciation for the opportunity to connect outside the usual work environment: “It’s always great to gather socially outside of school, allowing us to connect, converse freely, and get to know each other on a more personal level. As they say, ‘All’s well that ends well,’ and the dessert truly lived up to that sentiment. It was the perfect finale.”
Sopha Faraji, External Relations & Events Manager, expressed her satisfaction with the event's success: “It provided a great opportunity for networking and appreciation, allowing participants to engage with colleagues, share insights, and foster a sense of community within the institution. I feel incredibly satisfied with the outcome — it was a big success!
"What stood out the most was the enthusiastic participation and the positive energy throughout the evening.
