Every Room at Ruyterstraat 3 Now Has Its Own Refrigerator

To make its student housing even more comfortable, Wittenborg recently purchased 34 new refrigerators for its Ruyterstraat 3 building. With this upgrade, every room in the facility now has its own refrigerator.

The Everglades EVTT1019 models have a 4-star rating, indicating excellent freezing performance and energy efficiency.

According to Housing & Facility Caretaker Arno van den Belt, Ruyterstraat 3 previously had only six refrigerators, which were shared among all occupants. “We decided to purchase these 4-star refrigerators because they are high-quality appliances equipped with good freezer compartments. This has improved our housing facilities and made it easier for students to manage their food items.”

Van den Belt also noted that Wittenborg has purchased three additional refrigerators for its Apeldoorn-Zuid facilities, which will be delivered soon.

Bachelor’s student Luyuan Jin has been living at Wittenborg’s Ruyterstraat accommodation since November 2024. “I am very satisfied with the housing facilities. They are comfortable and close to the school, and having your own refrigerator is a nice bonus,” he commented.
