Graduation at Wittenborg 6 times a year - Pandu Wijaya
Students at Wittenborg can start and graduate 6 times a year. Therefore WUAS was pleased to see the graduation of 3 of its students on the 9th of February, including Pandu Wijaya, a student from Indonesia. He started at Wittenborg in October 2009 after he finished his Bachelor Degree in Accounting at Airlangga University in Indonesia.
“Because I already finished a bachelor degree back home I had the opportunity to graduate within one year at Wittenborg, but things went differently. I didn’t put my study as a first priority. I started a business in Indonesia, which was more important for me. If it didn’t work out in the Netherlands, I would at least have my own business back home. “
“The unique thing about Wittenborg is working with different nationalities from all around the world. Graduation Pandu Wijaya Communicating with different nationalities requires a different approach. During my time at Wittenborg I really developed my communication skills. Developing those skills, learning about life in general and from the program in particular, enabled me to do a thorough research for Wittenborg into the application of International Financial Reporting Standards for Small and Medium Enterprises (IFRS for SMEs) in the Netherlands. At the time I started my research I applied for a master program in Public Administration at Leiden University. I hadn’t graduated yet, but Wittenborg helped me to provide two official statements to show to Leiden University, which led me into the program.
I have learned that if you want to achieve something, you have to make plans and let those plans be a guide for every step you take and decision you make.“
WUAS wishes Pandu Wijaya all the best in the future.
