Orme to Drive Efficiency and Growth Across Departments

Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Orme as Head of Business Development and Operations.

With over 20 years of experience in the international education sector, including roles in public and private institutions as well as EdTech, Stephen began his career at Leiden University. He then moved to Nuffic, followed by a transition to the pathway sector and a position as Vice President of Partnerships at Studyportals.

In his new role at Wittenborg, Stephen will work across departments to enhance operational efficiency and drive strategic growth. He will also oversee Wittenborg’s transnational education projects, including managing curriculum delivery at our partner institution, New European College (NEC) in Munich, and leading the introduction of Wittenborg’s bachelor (first year) programme at OnCampus Amsterdam.

Stephen is also a board member of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) and has held various voluntary positions within the association throughout his career.

Stephen’s appointment underscores Wittenborg’s commitment to expanding its global footprint and delivering high-quality, internationally recognised education.
