Rauf Abdul, PhD, Head School of Business, holds a PhD in Human Resource Management from the University of Twente, the Netherlands, in addition to an MBA and MSc in Business. A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), he is an expert in business education, accreditation, and curriculum innovation, working with AACSB, AMBA, FIBAA, and NVAO.
Since 2015, Abdul has led the School of Business, driving institutional growth, international collaborations, and academic excellence. He has played a key role in securing global accreditations and forging partnerships with institutions in the UK, Germany, Austria, and beyond. His expertise spans higher education management, organisational behaviour, human resource management, and the future of work.
As a researcher and reviewer, he has published extensively on HRM, higher education, and AI in business in journals such as Quality in Higher Education, Industry and Higher Education, and Heliyon. He also serves on international accreditation panels, contributing to the advancement of business education.
