Meet Sarah Stacco
Master’s student Sarah Stacco brings a solid background in marketing and branding strategies, having worked across diverse markets, including South Africa, France, China and the United States. These experiences have equipped her to create impactful campaigns, manage client relationships and drive brand growth effectively.
Originally from South Africa, Sarah is currently pursuing a Master of Business Management (MBM) degree in Digital Marketing and Communications at Wittenborg. She chose to move to the Netherlands for its reputation as a hub of innovation, sustainability and forward-thinking education.
Studying at Wittenborg has greatly enhanced both Sarah's professional knowledge and personal growth. “I’ve developed skills in strategic analysis, critical thinking and research methodologies, which are essential for understanding complex business scenarios. Additionally, my cross-cultural communication abilities have improved while collaborating with peers from diverse backgrounds. I've gained valuable experience in applying theoretical concepts to real-world challenges, further honing my project management and leadership skills, especially in international settings,” she highlights.
Sarah possesses strong soft skills in communication, teamwork and leadership. She is also an empathetic listener, capable of building robust relationships with diverse teams and clients. To stay current in her field, she actively engages with resources like LinkedIn and the Harvard Business Review.
Currently, Sarah is seeking roles focused on digital transformation, sustainability and brand innovation, such as Marketing Manager, Brand Strategist or Project Management/Key Account Manager. “Ideally, I'd like to work in an international environment that values creativity and problem solving, where I can contribute to projects that drive both business growth and societal change. My experience, combined with a positive and proactive attitude, makes me a valuable asset for any organisation looking to foster collaboration and innovation,” she states.
Sarah’s friends describe her as reliable, supportive and adaptable. “They often say I’m a good listener and someone they can count on, whether for advice or just being there when needed. They also see me as ambitious, always striving for personal and professional growth, and someone who approaches challenges with a positive attitude and creative solutions,” she adds.
