Meet Rukayatt Alani Oluwakemi

Rukayatt Alani Oluwakemi, from Nigeria, is enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and exploring new opportunities and places. For this reason, she decided to move to the Netherlands to study for an MBA degree in International Management at Wittenborg. 

Previously, Rukayatt obtained a bachelor’s degree in her home country, where she also worked in various administrative positions. 

According to the graduate, by studying at Wittenborg she was able to become more proactive and develop forecasting skills. “On top of that, Wittenborg has made me more courageous because I often had to do in-class presentations during my programme.” 

In the Netherlands, Rukayatt has had the opportunity to work for different companies in roles related to research and management. She points out that these experiences have qualified her to work in international environments and meet tight deadlines.  

Currently, she is open for long-term administrative positions such as management assistant, administrative assistant or manager and sales executive, among others.  

Rukayatt comments that in order to keep up to date on career and work-related topics, she follows YouTube channels that feature relevant information. When it comes to her main soft skills, she highlights that she is able to handle pressure well and work with any software. “I see myself as a problem solver, and when faced with challenges, I handle them calmly and with an open mind.”
