Meet Brendah Kansiime
Originally from Uganda, Brendah Kansiime is a seasoned professional with experience in diverse fields, including banking, entrepreneurship, procurement and the public sector. This background has equipped her with a unique skill set and a deep understanding of the industries where she worked.
To further develop her career and enhance her expertise, Brendah chose to pursue a Master of Business Management (MBM) degree in Logistics and Trade at Wittenborg.
“I choose Wittenborg because of its practical approach to education, strong industry connections and emphasis on international business. The Netherlands is home to some of the world’s busiest ports and logistics hubs, providing unparalleled opportunities for learning and professional development,” she says.
Brendah is currently seeking positions in the logistics and trade sector where she can leverage her diverse experiences and advanced knowledge to drive efficiency and innovation. She is particularly interested in developing sustainable logistics solutions that address environmental challenges while enhancing operational efficiency.
“After I complete my master's programme, I aspire to take on leadership roles in the industry,” she highlights.
One of her most significant professional challenges was having to temporarily take on the position of a supervisor when he abruptly left his job. “When that happened, I decided to rely heavily on the expertise and knowledge of my team members. By organising meetings and discussions, I was able to gather insights and understand the current status and challenges of the company.”
Through her experiences, Brendah has gained valuable expertise in financial management, relationship management, customer service, risk assessment, strategic planning, supply chain management, effective communication, teamwork and other skills.
She describes herself as someone who is honest, hard-working, reliable and does not give up on her goals.
