Wittenborg University offers all its Bachelor and Master programmes and courses entirely in English.
As a University of Applied Sciences, Wittenborg promotes a learning experience that prepares students for the work field, and in addition prides itself on the academic excellence required of all its graduates. All our students have the opportunity to complete a period of work experience as part of their programme. For our Bachelor students this entails credited modules and project weeks, and for our Master students, work placement is an elective module.
We offer Bachelor and Master management programmes in 5 main domains; Business, Hospitality & Tourism, Sport & Care, Arts & Technology and Education.
All our programes are accredited by one or more European accrediting bodies, and recognised throughout the world. Dutch higher education is regarded as excellent, and its research Universities all feature in world rankings.
Wittenborg's management, academic, teaching and support staff have diverse backgrounds and currently represent more than 20 different nationalalities, whilst its student body represents more than 70 countries and cultures. Wittenborg provides a complete English speaking environment.
Bachelor programmes are either three or four year tracks, depending on a student's entry qualifications and chosen study pace. All Bachelor programmes also offer a 1 year top-up curriculum for students with previous higher education credits.
At the the School of Business you can study International Business Administration (IBA) in fields such as Economics & Management, Marketing & communication, International Trade & Logistics, Financial Services Management (Accounting & Finance sectors), Information Services Management and Real Estate Management.
The School of Business also offers a unique Bachelor programme in Entrepreneurship at its campus in the heart of Amsterdam. This Bachelor IBA in Entrepreneurship & Small Business offers students the opportunity to start their own business from the outset and students are constantly involved in real-life start-ups taking place in the 'Entrepreneurship Start-Up Incubator that is situated within the modern learning environment.
At the the School of Hospitality & Tourism, you can study a double Bachelor degree in International Hospitality Management, which is jointly offered by the University of Brighton. In this programme there is also the opportunity to spend one or two semesters abroad in an exchange programme called 'EuroBA'. This degree is accredited by FIBAA and NVAO (IBA) and by the University of Brighton (BA). The School of Hospitality & Tourism also offers a Bachelor IBA in Tourism Management and a Bachelor IBA in Event Management.
As part of the Arts and Technology Research Centre, Wittenborg offers an IBA programme in Technology Management.
Master programmes can be followed both Full-time and Part-time and last between 1 and 2 years.
We offer MBA programmes (Double accredited by FIBAA and NVAO) in the following fields: General Management, Entrepreneurship & innovation, Hospitality Management, Healthcare, Clean Technology, Finance & Education.
Together with the University of Brighton, we offer 1 year Master of Science (Msc) programmes in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Tourism Management and new in 2016 Sport Business Management.
We offer a special 1/2 year pre-master starting in March or April and leading to the Master of Science programmes. The pre-master is actually integrated into the main master programme and students stream seamlessly into the MSc after completing the first 6 months. This programme is called the MSc & Pre-Master Combi-Package.
English Language Preparation Courses
At the Wittenborg College, we offer Foundation Programmes and English Language Programme for students who require a higher IELTS English language proficiency, or who simply want to prepare themselves better for higher education studies at Wittenborg or elsewhere.
